The Esoteric
Audio-Lab
XII|VIII DIGITAL is not a record label in the conventional sense. It is an esoteric audio-lab — a controlled environment where sound is treated as a channeling medium rather than a product.
Founder Joseph T. Boies approaches production as an act of excavation: each release is a fragment pulled up from the floor of the collective unconscious, cleaned, amplified, and returned to the listener as a living digital artifact.
The label's central thesis is that frequency is memory and myth is signal. The three eidolons — TETH, MAEV, and VIGIL — are not artists or projects but archetypal currents, each carrying its own physics, its own audio state, and its own relationship to the void.
There is no hierarchy among them. TETH ruptures, MAEV drifts, VIGIL watches. Together they form a closed circuit: a triptych whose meaning is not in any single panel but in the resonance between them.
The First Signal
Joseph T. Boies begins channeling raw frequency experiments from a makeshift studio — late-night sessions aimed not at music but at mapping the architecture of the unconscious.
The Triptych Forms
Three distinct archetypal currents emerge from the noise. They are named TETH, MAEV, and VIGIL — the first eidolons, each with its own physics and its own voice.
XII|VIII DIGITAL
The label is founded as a permanent home for the eidolons — an esoteric audio-lab where mythological storytelling, immersive soundscapes, and experimental production converge into a single digital artifact.
